Enilchek & Sary-Jaz Valley

Your adventure begins with an early departure from Karakol in a powerful 4×4 vehicle. The road quickly leads into wild mountain landscapes as you drive through scenic valleys and remote terrain.

• Continue deep into the breathtaking Sary-Jaz Valley

The Sary-Jaz Valley is one of the most impressive and least-visited regions in Kyrgyzstan. Surrounded by massive snow-covered peaks and glaciers, the landscape feels untouched and incredibly vast.

By afternoon, arrive in Sary-Jaz and set up camp in tents with an unforgettable view of Khan Tengri Peak, one of the most iconic mountains in the Tien Shan range. Watching the sunset light up the peaks is a truly magical moment.

After breakfast in the mountains, continue your journey by 4×4 vehicle toward the mysterious town of Enilchek.

• Arrive at the abandoned mining town of Enilchek
• Walk through the quiet streets of this Soviet-era ghost town
• Explore the remains of old mines and industrial buildings
• Learn about the history of the once-thriving mining community

Enilchek feels like a place frozen in time — empty houses, old infrastructure, and dramatic mountain backdrops create a unique atmosphere.

After exploring the town, visit natural wild hot springs near the river to relax and recharge before the long drive back.

In the afternoon, return to Karakol via Chong-Ashuu Pass, enjoying more scenic stops along the way.
