Your journey begins with departure from Karakol and a scenic drive toward the Kyrgyz–Kazakh border. After completing border formalities, continue into Kazakhstan’s stunning mountain region.
Along the way, you will pass through the picturesque Karkara Gorge, known for its wide alpine meadows and beautiful mountain views.

Lake Kaindy
Arrive at the famous Lake Kaindy, one of Kazakhstan’s most unique natural wonders. The lake is known for its mysterious “sunken forest” — tall spruce tree trunks rising straight out of its turquoise waters. You will have time to walk around, take photos, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

Kolsai Lakes
Continue to the stunning Kolsai Lakes, often called the “Pearls of the Tien Shan.” Surrounded by forested slopes and mountains, these lakes offer a perfect setting for a relaxing walk along the shore. The reflections of the mountains on the water create spectacular photo opportunities.
In the evening, drive to Saty Village, a small and welcoming mountain village. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a cozy guesthouse, experiencing warm local hospitality.
